3/4 ton 2wd aftermarket wheels - what fits?

I've got to get a new set of wheels for my truck. The old chrome ones on it, well, suck. They're not my style. They look good on the E350 cargo van I just bought, so now they're residing there.

My truck is using the Ford's stock gray steelies now. Ironically I think I like it a bit better this way. But...

I've found a ton of 3/4 ton wheels out there for the modern Chevy trucks. Most seem to have a 4.5" backspacing on them. Will these work on these old trucks?

The Ford wheels have a 4" backspacing and seem to fit with no issues - I never went lock to lock with the steering, but I'm a touch more worried about the rear tire clearing the bed inner wheel well.

I'm worried about that extra 1/2 inch or so, as well as the width of the tires that I'd end up getting.

I recently found and fell in *love* with the American Racing ATX series "Artillery" wheels. I'd like to get 'em in 20's and put them on that truck. The wheel is 9" wide, and has a 4.5" backspacing. -12mm offset. It's the *only* style they make for the 8x6.5" log pattern.

If you have aftermarket wheels on your 3/4 ton, mind posting some pics? I'm open to different styles, but have always liked the star type patterns the best.

Thanks!
