Exclamation Help!! Bearing in steering column needs replaced!!!!

I am i dire need of someone to show me pictures and a somewhat easy to follow set of directions to show me how this is done, im buying a new pickup (80 chevy 4x4 3/4 ton) and dad said that before he insures it and i can start driving it, that column needs to be fixed so any help would be greatly appreciated.

The problem with the column is that the bearing in the top portion of the column(its a tilt column)is totally shot and the steering wheel can be picked up and moved around a some in the column.

Thanks,
Dayne
