72 Suburban lowering kit

Hey everyone, new guy here.

I just purchased a 1972 Suburban and I plan on lowering it a bit, but not too much.

I have been looking at drop kits and my question is this - Early Classics has a 2/4 drop kit with no drop spindles, do you have to have the drop spindles to lower the truck, or can I just use the new springs and shocks that the kit includes? Not looking for a drastic drop, just want to lower the ride a bit.

If anyone has any recommendations on this and what size rims and tires might look good, I really would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks
