Spitting fire..lol

As of late when I drive my truck and park it and then try to crank it back up.It's having to turn over more than when I first got it.So today I took it for a spin stopped by a family member's house for about an hour, and sure enough when I tried to crank it,it started turning over but not firing. So I pressed the peddle a couple of times and after a few more turns it cranked. So I got to the corner and stepped on the gas and heard it back fire and cut off. Then i cranked it back up and drove to the store to get a pack of smokes and when i got out I saw smoke. So I popped the hood and fire was shooting up out of the carb.I didn't have any thing to put it out with and the ppl in the store saw what was going on.So they came running out the store with a fire extinguisher. And proceeded to coat my whole engine bay with this stuff. Now I was thankful for the help but the only thing I was thinking about was the mess that I was gonna have to clean up.So I called my wife to come and get my son and I,and then I took my carb off carefully so I wouldn't get any more of that stuff anywhere else. And brought it home to clean it.And I just got done cleaning it,which took about an hour,I took my time cause I sure don't want to have to take it back off again. So now in the morning I have to go back up to the store and clean my engine bay and put my carb back on.Not looking forward to that cleaning.Oh well that's life ...just thought I'd share my experience with you guys.....
