Add another 67 to my roster!!
Today we went to a local consignment auction, and we came home with this:
It's a 67 C20, with the 250 Inline 6, a 4 speed transmission, and very little rust. It has the original build sheet, owners manual, and supplement manual. The exterior is virtually rust-free, and the interior is very clean. The heater core is has had some mice in it, as it's plugged, lol. The motor runs great, I'm going to give it a good tune up in the next few weeks. The current plans are to tear the front suspension apart and replace the bushings and tie rod ends, as well as give it a 2/4 drop. It has a coil spring rear, with the HD spring rear, which has the helper leaves. I'll remove those. I don't have any plans for body work, but there is some bondo, so eventually it'll have to be done. But right now the plan is to get it running and driving. Oh, did I mention that it has 76,000 original miles?? Also, we only paid $1250 for it. So, what do you think??
