She's slippin!

Well I worked on my brakes yesterday and put a new tie rod. the tranny leaks real bad, and has stopped leaking, so i knew it was low, so i put in 2 quarts and started her up and let her run for a while, then took off. the tranny was slipping pretty bad. i'd give it gas, and the motor would get louder, but not really get the truck moving as quick as it should. so i drove it to the store and dumped in one more quart. it showed more then full on the dipstick. so i drove it home and it was still slipping. then when i went to back in my driveway, it wouldnt go into reverse. it finally did, then no prob goin in and out of reverse.

i took off once more and from a stop, i floored it, it downshifted, then did it once more til it was in first. it didnt do it from the start like it should have. back at home again, reverse was hard to find again, but i found it.

I'm lookin for any ideas you guys might have. think its time to rebuild? who knows when it was rebuilt last!
