Monte Carlo bumper met my bumper

Had my truck parked on the street in front of my friend's house. Heard a bang and the neighbor backed into my bumper with his newer monte carlo.

Good news is, I got $400 cash (no insurance involved), and I am replacing the bed anyways.

I really liked that bumper, I traded my sport bumper for this bumper, which came from pcmcobra's truck (a member here). That bumper held up well through the New England weather and never showed any signs of pitting or rust.

I guess where it was hit, was a weak spot on the bumper but I was pretty suprised it got pushed up that much.

The neighbor already had his bumper replaced at the body shop last month and will have to do it again.

I am going to shop around for used bumpers, but I think to find something as nice as that bumper was, I will have to go with LMC or something.
