You are doing some very nice work from the looks of it. If I can only make one suggestion that would be invest in a gas set up for you welder because I have seen that inner shield come back and bite people in the ARSS after paint because of all the impurity's that get trapped in the puddle. Plus it will make your life alot easier for cleanup. But at this point I would have the metal work media blasted and use a good epoxy primmer/surfacer to seal what has been done.

Also I understand what nuke1 is saying about the windshield being sunk on most but with yours having the welded cowl it will blend right in and look sweet! Are your plans to put the latch in the doors or in the A pillar with only the strike bolt ion the door? Keep the pics coming.
