swtman Registered User Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Red Deer, Alberta,Canada Posts: 22	tranny swap question I have a '67 gmc with a 305 v8 with a turbo350 tranny with 3.73 rearend. I have been doing some research and believe I could swap out the tranny for a 200 4r overdrive. Has anyone here done this swap? I want to do this swap because I need to get the rpms down for highway and I believe I would not have to change the driveshaft length. Any input would be appreciated!
