This makes me think of some old fogey sayin' something about "those kids and their damned rock 'n roll!"
People called that a fad too. The extremes may come and go, but attitude (and altitude adjustment) isn't going anywhere as long as hotrodding is still alive! *(Not calling anyone an old fogey!)
