New 6 banger

Bought a 68 fleetside c10 with an inline 250 in there. 83,000 original miles. Been checking out all the inline performance setups. Always wanting to see people setups and how they make it all work. Never really been to much into cars, but when I found her i knew she had to be mine.Having alot of fun learning about 6 cylinders. Done a little bit of work on her here and there.
Planning on putting in new headers, intake, holley390. Curious about 6 cylinder fuel injection.
Getting a laughable 9 miles a gallon, up from 7! I know its all about my exhaust system as i see its got some tiny holes here and there and i know the seal in between my manifold intake and carb is bad, so thats part of it all too. I know i can get her to do better than that.
Planning on putting a wood bed in at some point and then moving the fuel tank back there.
Body is straight as an arrow. some small rust spots under bed and hood but she looks real good.
I live in South Philadelphia so i keep it in a garage during the winter. I would like for it to be as reliable as daily driver.
Hit me up if you got any questions or have good advice to share. Will post some pics this weekend.
