Home Made Shifter Knob

i made this in about 2 days. i used a block of mahogany. i then chipped alot of it away with a hammer and chisel. i then sanded it down with a belt sander. i then finished it of by doing another sanding by hand. im working on putting clear coat on it right now. what do you guys think?
