Blazer gas tank fill options

I'll be putting a blazer fuel tank in my SWB and I'm looking for ideas on filling it up.

I'm opposed to directly filling through the floor in case I have it loaded and need to access, it would be a pain. I'm not a fan of running a hose to the fender well.

I'd like to graft in a fuel door from some late model truck and then run a hose to the tank, knowing I"ll have to cut into the frame to make it work.

Anyone have pics of what they have done?
