Plastic Tank Woes

Okay so I just got a poly tank to replace the rusty, leaking, oem tank on my 72. I've searched the threads and the only ones who had any sort of advice mostly said that you have to find reinforced tubing. Most of those threads also were a couple years old. Has anyone found any other successful and more convenient methods?

Overall i'm ok pleased with the tank but I still don't have it mounted and hooked up completely. I had to change one of the fittings out because it was absolutely way too small for one of the hoses. I am, however, pretty pissed that they would sell a tank that claims it "replaces original without madification" and i'm gonna have to rig it to make it work. Maybe once I get it mounted and i'm not leaking fuel anymore i'll be happier but as for now i'm a little pissed.

Also the tank has 2 hookups on the driver side and 1 on the pass. side. What is the single outlet on the passenger side for? The PO had it capped
