Vacuum Adv. Dizzy question

Hey Guys, I was looking at a dizzy I found to soon replace my troublesome one and I found an fairly nice one but I won't lie I don't think it will work. Its an HEI dizzy with a vacuum advance. Is there a way to cap off the vacuum adv. My ecm does the timing changes for me ....or is this something I can incorporate into my existing system?

I have a 88 4.3 TBI c1500

If this is a silly question I'm sorry but I figure the dumb one is the one not asked, thanks!
