Exhaust routing question

I need to buy some mufflers for my truck so I can run the engine without making all the neighbors hate me. I dont wnat ot do the full exhaust yet, but I dont want ot buy parts twice either.

My plan is, to just run the two mufflers straight behind the headers for now, basically attach them right after the reducer.

I plan on using 2.5" exhaust but I cant decide whether i need offset inlet/exit for the muffler or offset inlet/center exit. What do you guys recommend?
