Hey! I said DON"T SLAM THE DOOR! Dad I think I....
Broke the window Ok now you know why dad has told you about a million times not to slam the door!
The door is old and many slams of the door had weakened the leaded glass to the point to rattling when shut. My daughter slammed her hand on the window when her friend was makink faces on the other side. The lead stretched and bowed and several glass pieces cracked. I tore the door apart and flattened the glass back out. I can't afford a new door at the time so I fixed it the best I could. I flipped the broken window and swapped it over to the hinge side of the door. I had new glass panels cut to cover the leaded panes. I bought an extra trim piece anticipating a mistake. I used it and still had to go get another. I used a casing trim backwards (Thick side in, thin side out) My brain could not get past that and I wasted some wood. Oh well it's almost done. I appreciated my little portable air tank today.

"I love that old car smell" Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
