pcv valve need

71 c10, 350, hei, eps man, 1406 carb, hedders going on tomorrow,

Is it ok to disgard the pcv and plug the pcv port on the carb or would this cause problems, run better or worse, I dont have emision requirements, looking to get new valve covers and the ones I like dont have a pcv hole
