Lightbulb drop spindle info.

This week i completely rebuilt the suspension and installed drop spindles on my 1971 chevy lwb. I had no problems with the rebuild or installation of the parts, problems began when i put my wheels on. My wheels are mid 80's 15x8chevy truck rims, the very popular ones you see the most on clasic trucks, anyway when i put on the wheels they rubbed on the bottom of the lower A-arm. The off-set of the drop spindle caused this problem. I ordered the spindles from LMC trucks and there was no info that warned of this problem so maybe i can save someone alot of trouble. Luckily i was planing on changing out my rims anyway with weld drag lights, outherwise i would be pissed. I guess the only way to fix the problem if one was insistant on using factory take-offs is to either use wheel spacers if you do not mind a wider stance or grind away on the A-arm which could possibly weaken the A-arm or go with a larger dia. wheel. Hope i saved someone a headache.
