intake bolts

Got a question for the masses out there, I cannot for the life of me get the two center intake bolts on my 350 to stop seeping oil?? when I removed them the first time there was no thread sealant at all on them, so I removed all the oil that was pooled up an reinstalled them with sealant, torqued them down to specs, an it worked for about a week an then I noticed the oil pooling up again, does anybody have a fix?? It is a Edelbrock Performer intake, I know it may sound fussy but it's the only leaks I have on my motor, I wanna take care of it!!! Could the PO have used too short a bolt, possibly??
