Radiator question..

Guys,
I'm looking at replacing my radiator on my 67 chevy stepside.... The motor came out of a 74 G10 van. it's a 350. manual transmission. I want to eventually convert the tranny to auto. My question is, when looking for radiators, does it matter if i go with automatic or standard transmission? Brothers has a bunch listed. I also want to replace the radiator support. Are the supports generally bolt in or require welding?

Thanks,
Chris
