so is this an "Expensive" sound?

it does sound like a loose valve but I am sure they are all tight and adjusted right. I checked some of them. the motor does have a miss in it. I just did the plugs, gaped them at 45*, I "think" the wires are OK. I did notice before that when it would click, it would miss then when it stopped it was OK. it sounds like its coming from up-top. also, what is that thing that is attached to the passenger side manifold? there is a rod that disappears in the back of the motor. could that be causing the clicking? the rod behind the *canister* is loose.
