Instrument clusters
I need a bit of schooling about instrument clusters
I know there are differences between 73-80 and 81-87 Is there differences between the wiring set up for guage and idiot light? What differences do i need to overcome? Im thinking of replacing my guage set up with another the thing is i dont know if mine had idiot lights or guages as the PO put in some not working aftermarket temp and oil guages I would prefer the stock guages in the dash.. neither cluster has a tach Also there is no difference between the cluster that came from a stick as opposed to an automatic other than the black tape that covers the gear selector section?
