Did a couple of simple mods tonight...

When I got home today it was like Christmas on the front porch. We've been agonizing over some tough decisions so I needed to get my mind off of things and do some truck therapy. These are the best mods I've done for the money on this truck so far:

1) My truck is an LS so I had a plastic steering wheel with cruise control but no audio controls. Picked up a leather wheel with cruise and audio controls on EBAY for $56 shipped two days ago, it came today . Install was simple quick, now I have audio controls at my fingertips and the feel of a leather wheel.

2) Installed a corvette servo. Install should have been easy but it seems like whenever I touch transmission fluid I lose my head. Well it wasn't that hard just messy and it took me awhile to remove an o-ring and replace the snap ring on the cover. Finally got it in though and man was it worth the whole $15. First trip down the road and I nearly crapped my pants when I grabbed second gear at WOT and laid down a little patch with a chip

Next mod is a Comp Cams 212/218 .522/.529 cam.
