The truck got out of the garage today...
She's my driver but I had to take everything apart from the firewall forward a couple of summers ago to fix some things: broken motor mount, tie rods that went "clunk, clunk" when you grabbed them, numerous engine and transmission leaks, and clean 40+ years of filth from the engine bay. I cleaned and repainted as I went. It's been a slow process but I finally was able to fire it up today and drive it up and down my street! I tried rebuilding the power steering control valve (ram assist power steering), but today it kept puking fluid through the ball stud. I took the belt off of the pump and reinstalled my original steering wheel for the extra leverage. I basically have manual steering now (at least until I get a new valve). I had forgotten how skinny that wheel was! All that's left is to hang some sheet metal. I have learned a TON from this board!
