I left the house for some bolts and came home with this.
I was tired of Digging through boxes of parts unable to find that right clip or screw from the few trucks i've had. Then making lists these past 3 weekends since my truck has been home and usually spending at least 1 whole day each weekend going to Dan's Classic (portland, OR) Followed by Zig's Street Rods (Newberg, OR) As well as at least 1 of the 3 wrecking yards I frequent within an hour of me. Since I pretty much know all the parts left right now at those yards;
My wife actually got on Craigslist and found this. Called the guy and set it up for me to go look at it the next day (yesterday). I think she was tired of those wrecking yard trips too. LOL Here is some pics of what I drug home last night. Still has the Original 292 in it (Quit Running about 6 months ago I guess). The guy I got it from bought it from the original owner (still on the title) I wouldn't have known it was the original owner but I found a couple recipts in the truck that were interesting to say the least. The title says 70k original miles, The clock shows 89,000 now. No telling if thats true or not. but there are alot of things about this truck that make me think it might be.
