z400rider8787 Registered User Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Yelm, WA Posts: 62	'70-'71 suspension swap q's I have a 70 GMC that had the drum brake set up in front but i am switching to a 71 set up i canniblized off my friends truck. my question is... I know that i have to get different ball joints to fit the spindles as well as outter tie rods. but do i need the inner tie rods for a 70 to fit in the steering rod? or are they the same?
