Disc swap questions

I have a 69 Chevy with 6 lug and drum brakes. I just bought a 72 Chevy rolling chassis with 5 lug and disc brakes. I have a few questions about swapping the parts over.

1-What is the easiest method to do this swap. I've heard about swapping crossmembers and was wondering how to do this.

2- The 72 is missing the brake booster and master cylinder. Can I set it up as manual disc or is the power booster required. Can anyone tell me the proper length push rod?

3-Can someone show a picture of the proportioning valve? There are 3 different valves in the back of the truck and I'm wondering if I have the right one.

Thanks for any and all help with my questions.
