Well i broke the bank today. As some of you know i have been looking around for a 67-72 chevy to purchase just to have something to mess around with. After countless hours of looking at Craigslist, the for sale forum here and buggin the mess out of people. I found what i thought to be a solid purcahse. I have been eyeing this one listing on Craigslist in my hometown of Columbus. It is about an hour south of where i live now. So i was down there today to pickup my son for the 4th and called the guy. His asking price was a bit high but most online ads are. So i called him and we met up at his house. I inspected the truck, listened to it run. It has a 6+/- year old paint job. Did a good job masking the rust in the pictures but for the most part its not bad. Just what i have really been lookin for. Original inline 6, dash was intact, glass moves (no cracks) seats are workable... anywho ya get the idea. So here are the photos (i hope i can figure this out). Funny thing, i dont know how to drive a 3speed, how could it be any different than a 5speed. Should have seen me go. HAAA, well two blocks from the mans house and the darn thing cuts off. Its out of gas, added gas. It will not stay running now. Thinking i will rebuild the carb. this weekend. fuel pump is pumping and i have changed the filter. Looking forward to having some fun with this truck.
1970 stepside, short w/b, i think thats the big back window, 250 I6. Speed still on the column.
