holly carberator OPEN ME UP AND READ ME
this sounds stupid but i didnt know the answer....
while back i was workin for an old farmer down the road and saw a holly carberator box...well didnt say nothin bout it till a few months later (today) i stopped back and asked if he'd sell it...(was settin on a shelf in a barn...he THINKS it came off of a ?427 ford motor? i gotta couple numbers but dunno the number on the carb or the cfm..i wanna know if it'll fit my truck or not and if its too much or not enough lol...and is holly a good carb? running Q-Jet now and had a freshly rebuild edelbrock that give me nothin but trouble....i can get it for almosst nothing...so would it be any better than my q jet? oh and its a 4 barrel carb....still has all the orig. paperwork....it looks fairly new its just kinda dirty from dirt dobber nests......and what're some bolt on go a lil faster performace goodies...im just getting into this kinda stuff so bear with me lol
