Door Switches

Hey guys,

I have been looking for some door switches to turn on courtesy lights in the floor board. I found these (Delco D6030) used on 80's - 90's GM cars. they were $4.20 each from Rock Auto.

My 65 has factory holes in the door jambs that look like they were made for these switches. They fit perfectly. They are sort of self adjusting. The bushing is a press fit on the tube. When you close the door for the first time they adjust to the correct position by sliding on that press fit. They work like a champ. 3/8" fine (SAE) nuts fit the threads. Standard push on connectors fit the connection.

No modification to the truck required!
