I am in the middle of rebuilding the door hinges on Fred, and I am not sure how to put the steel bushings in.

I have the door hanging on the door jack and and ran into something that has me confused....... (it's OK, it's easy to do)....

Please look at this first pic and see if I have the bronze bushings in correctly:

Now, I am not sure how the steel bushings go in. It looks as though either way they go in, they will need ground down flush with the hinge. True? If so, looking at the upper hole on the hinge, do they go in like this:

Or do they go like this:

Help please!!!!
