Exhaust question

In the near future, I'll be taking my Truck in to get some new tips/hangers ect.
I've seen on other Hot Rods (forgive me it the verbage is not correct), but they have "Cut-Outs" hooked in with the exhaust.
I'm assuming it replaces the tireless chore of getting under the vehicle and manually unbolting/uncapping the Headers.
So then (after installattion), if you want to uncap the Headers you just flick a switch or pull a cable and the exhaust is routed right from the Header out this opening.

I'm looking for:
1)What its called?
2)Do you have it on YOUR Truck?
3)How does it sound?
4)What was the cost?

Pictures would be an added extra too!
