truck won't start (no contact)

well i sat in the truck for a good 30 minutes trying to start it... this has happened to me once before...

when i turn the key, buzzer sounds as normal and all electrical stuff will operate.

when i try to start it though... nothing... no sounds... nothing the engine doesn't turn over or anything.

after turning the key a couple hundred times, when it finally gets contact it starts no probs.

any idea what the problem could be???
