350-Turbo350 kickdown cable

Hi all, again I'll state that I'm new to the Chevy world thus I don't have any knowledge of how to properly hook up and adjust my kick-down cable to the throttle linkage.
I have a newer crate motor with a Edelbrock 1406 and a Turbo 350. I bought the vehicle from the second owner after the rebuild and when I got it the cable was not attached to anything. What I can see is a loop end that could attach with a bolt to the throttle linkage and an elongated plastic loop near the end of the housing that obviously attaches to some kind of bracket that would adjust for correct tension at WOT. Does anyone have any pictures that could help me figure out what brackets are missing?
thanks for any advise-help getting my tranny shifting!
