How much should I pay?

I'm looking for a 68-72 c10 fleet short bed. wondering what I should be looking to pay?

found a 72 body is about 90% correct. Interior is all there but torn apart. Engine does not run. He wants $3900, is that a good price? About 1 1/2 hours away.

Also found a 1970 short bed entire front end is dismantle and other parts of the truck in pieces. body looks to be 75% finished. Owner swears everything is there. Wants $2800, comes with a rebuilt big block, is about 3 three hour drive away to take a look.
