Driveshaft Update..
Well I finally received my new u-joints and pinion yoke from these guys Dennysdriveshaft.com....unfortuneatly I hit a problem with the u-joints. As I had already sent my D/S in for repair before I had ordered my new parts I based the size and type of my U/J on the P/Y this was a mistake as when I took the new parts to the D/S guy so he could hook it all up ready for balancing, he took one look and said they were the wrong U/J's. Turns out the U/J that connects the P/Y to D/S yoke on mine is whats called a combination type..it has two different widths, the second U/J that connects to the slip yoke was not a combo joint but it was larger than the one I had ordered. Denny's say that combo U/J's are for mismatched D/S's and that mine has surely been modified at some point....bummer.
Hope this info helps anyone as green as me avoid making this same mistake.
