Hey, SpaceCoast new guy

Hi, looks like a great site for info. on my new toy I hauled home last Tue. night. I Had a '68 long bed c20 for a beater a long time ago, really like the front of '67-'68's.
Saw this '67 c10 shortbed stepside on Craigslist, seems like a pretty solid old truck. V8, auto, plain jane------ ran just enough to get it up on the trailer, squirting trans. fluid pretty badly. Eng./trans is non-original, edelbrock carb.& manifold HEI dist. and headers. I don't remember seeing many or any SB stepsides with the spare tire mount on the side----- kinda like it. I'm retired and have some time and shop space to work on this truck. I'd like to finish up with a nice cruiser/driver......with A/C, ps, p. disc brakes. I have a couple of muncie 4 spd. and a choice of 2 big blocks or a ZZ series sm. block. Like to have 5 lugs and a posi rear. ALL IT TAKES IS TIME & MONEY, RIGHT? Get ready for LOTS of dumb questions.... THANKS in advance.
