454 Casting # locations

Ok yeah I'm new to the forum.
Noob blah blah blah....

Can someone help me out?
I just bought a 69 C-10.. Sooo nice.. I have been waiting along time to get it.
The truck has a swap 454 in it and I cannot find any information on the block.
I have looked over the timing chain and found numbers that dont match anything I have found in the big block numbers. A suffix of "SD" which is not right either.
So I have decided to go after the casting numbers but cannot find them in the place I think it should be. I looked at the flange that connects to the bellhousing and the area all around it on the drivers side.
Is there a way to find out where this engine came from without busting any gaskets or rtv seals?
