Need some advice....

Hey All,

Just picked up this 72 LWB and I need some advice/info on a few things... First I know it has a drop on it, not sure exactly how much. Whats the best way to find out? I bought this truck with the intention of using it as a work truck. I am going to paint it flat black and do some hand lettering/logo for my business on the sides. Always thought it would be cool to have a kick ass truck do some advertising for me! Well, I need to tow with it and put some weight in the bed occasionally. (It has 4-link with springs) When I load it up now (with 500+ lbs) it appears to overload the suspension. How can I beef up the rear suspension for towing and actual use and keep a cool looking stance?

Also, anyone recommend a size tire to try and go with? I'm looking for something a little bigger that will fill the wheel wells a little more. Thought maybe someone had some experience and could tell me what size to start with. It has 255/60/R15 on it now.

Ok, lastly.... It has the factory A/C in the truck. It hasn't worked for probably 10 years by the looks of things. Is it worth trying to repair/replace the factory air or to just tear it out and throw in an aftermarket kit? Just curious as to cost to hassle ratio, etc.... Thanks guys....

Any input would help! Wish me luck.....
