Question Control arm removal (torsion style)

So I'm in the process of doing the front cross member swap and I had a quick question about removing the control arms. I want to remove the whole thing in 3 managable pieces ( left upper and lower control arms and spindle/ same with the right side and then the middle piece). I was just curious how to take all the load off of the torsion bars so I can unbolt the upper/lower/spindle assembly in one piece. Thanks for the help.
