Rh door issue

Greetings,
We purchased a new RH door for our 72' from LMC.
First issue is the outer door panel is too tall! Hits the rocker and will not shut. So we fixed it be straightening the outer skin and rebending it correctly. And yes we did measure off the old door to verify the problem.
Second issue, Today I installed the door latch and shut the door. OPPS! The latch will not release. Found the window track is 1/4-inch too long and the latch hits the channel. The release lever would not move enough to release the latch. Somehow the latch finally releases. Fixed this by shortening the window track.
Third, finally starting to adjust the door but the door is 1/4-inch from closing all the way. The latch is working, but now we find that the latch is set 1/4-inch towards to the inside of the door. Again this is based on measuring the old door.
SO The Big Question, IS THIS NORMAL????? Or is there someone who makes a replacement that will actually bolt up without rework?
Thanks
MrBlue
