re: spare tire... Several years ago I had thouight of installing a spare tire holder from a 86 Toyota truck on my 68 GMC -my truck had the spare on the bedside.
Reasons I wanted to change it is, it was a chain lift, it would hold the tire up higher, I had the Toyota truck and and I wanted something easier to work with rather than the large swing arm that ours have. I sold the Toyota truck before I made the conversion. |
