so now that my brother (bluethunder) has his blazer running...
it's really motivated me to get mine going. it'll take considerably less to do so...i'm hoping anyways. i've been reading up on and got some good advice and i'm ready to tackle the problems i was having keeping it running. i was convinced it was a bigger problem and it still may be but with any luck it'll turn out to be just that the carb is running too rich so i've bought a vacuum gauge, new plugs and i'm ready to tackle tuning the carb to lean it out. if i can't do it with just the idle mixture screws, i'll get new rods. if that doesn't do it i'll get new jets. if all that fails then i have bigger problems but i'm hoping it doesn't get that far. my goal before was to get it all done - floors and all - before i start driving it but now i just want it running good and i'll take care of the floors in time. hopefully i'll have good news for you guys in the weeks to come and hopefully another vid of it running.
