Buzzer

I was wondering if the buzzer went off if you left your lights on and had a door opened? My neighbor has an '87 that does that. It looks like in some of the elecrical diagrams that there is a wire going to the drivers seat belt. Is this true? My buzzer only works intermittently with the seat belt thing. Leaving the key in doesn't work unless you push on the key. Ignition Cylinder is jacked-up. My buzzer only works every other day it seems. I kinda like it. Better than my friends Dodge that has 3 NOISY!!!
