You can get an LC1 for about $200, and that's almost what I'd charge for one like I use in complete, ready to plug in form.

The LC1 has less features, and you wouldn't have a display, but at least you'd have a warranty, and some kind of reliable support. With an LC1, you'd need to hook it up to a laptop to see the AFR (or you could add on your own gauge to it...)

I wouldn't trash the idea of me building and testing them for people, but I wouldn't want anything to do with "hey, it stopped working, what now??" types of things. I wouldn't have the time or resources to support it after it passed my QC and testing. After that, it would have to be up to you...
