Pull tranny... or not to pull tranny... that is the question
So...
I already know I'm pulling the motor to replace it. It is a 350 in a 72 c-10. Now... do I pull the th350 tranny at the same time... or just disconnect the tranny and leave it in the truck? I'm sooooooooooo on the fence about this. I'm going to be doing this all in my driveway, and I'm trying to do the LEAST amount of work possible when it come to pulling and sticking this thing... So... leaving it in the truck, I unbolt the torque converter and the bell housing yes? Kick down cable and... vacuum line??? yes??? Pulling the tranny means unhooking trans cooler lines, speedo cable, and... linkage... uhh... driveshaft and tranny mount... yes???
