Headlights

I recently wired up two 30amp relays for my Hi/Low beams.

Before the relays I was running sylvania xtravision in the low-beams. They functioned perfect. I recently went to switch back to my sylvania Silverstars. ( they are noticably brighter) When I run the silver stars I have to re-wire the pin connector to get the lo-beams to work, then When I switch over to high beams I lose a low-beam ? VisaVersa When I wire it to the way the xtravisions where I get a little glow in high beams when Just the lows are on.

I must have a bad ground somewhere....

I want to just re-wire the whole headlight circuit from the firewall out. Using the old Low/Hi wires for the relays switched power.

My plan is to run two inline 30amp fuses to two 30amp relays. One for hi, one for low like Im currently running. Do I Need to run two relays for Each light ? Totaling 4 ? 2 high 2 low ?

Im going to run all 12awg wire and solder and shrinkwrap all my connections too. I just recently wired up a electric fan using all 12awg and solder connections. Turned out very nice.

Thanks for any help guys, I want to get my headlights dialed soon. The relays made a big difference already. Now I just want the wiring to the lights to be overkill
