I have a 70 C10 with a 402 and a 4 core radiator. Its been blowing hot air through the AC outlets so for a quick fix I disconnected the heater core. Just cut the hoses and made a u out of PVC to reconnect the hoses to instead of just plugging the hoses. Now every time I shut it off it pukes coolant out the overflow line. There is no overflow bottle never was one. It drains the coolant to the bottom of the radiator. Why would it start just by disconnecting the heater core? I did replace the cape but no change.
