slop in front a arms

I bought some stock arms and front end parts from a guy on this site and it all came off a 67 1/2 ton. (I have a 71 half ton)

I got everything on and the rivet that hold the lower cross shaft in place is smaller than the hole in the cross shaft. when i tore all mine out i never really looked at it and wondered if that is normal slop or if it should fit tight into place. also i don't have the lower cross shaft u-bolts tight yet if that makes a difference?

I also noticed that the cross shafts for the upper arms are a little different as well. it looks like the shaft is bigger in diameter and where the nut would hold it against the frame the cross shaft is concaved a little instead of mine that are flat???(if that make sense)

any help is greatly appreciated!!!
